Patient Advocacy & Navigation
When a loved one's health starts to decline, someone in the family becomes the coordinator — on hold with clinics, chasing records, decoding insurance — while trying to still be present for everyone else. Wayfind steps in so you don't have to carry it alone.
Walk in and just hold their hand.
What We Do
Wayfind is a patient advocacy and navigation practice. We handle the medical system — with the expertise of a seasoned clinical nurse — so your family can focus on what matters.
Monthly retainer-based advocacy for patients with ongoing medical needs. We schedule appointments, manage prescription refills, coordinate between providers, navigate insurance, and deliver a monthly care summary so your family always knows exactly where things stand — and what's coming.
When a hospitalization, surgery, or new diagnosis happens, the complexity spikes fast. We step in during these critical moments — coordinating discharge planning, post-acute transitions, provider communication, and daily family updates — until your loved one is back to their baseline.
Diagnoses, medication changes, specialist referrals — the information is often there, but it isn't always clear. We translate clinical language into plain terms, help you understand your options, and make sure the right questions get asked.
From identifying the right specialists to understanding what's covered under insurance, we handle the coordination that falls through the cracks — so nothing important gets missed, and no one ends up on hold at the front desk when something urgent is happening.
Who We Serve
Some clients come to Wayfind for themselves — because they want a professional in their corner who isn't their family. Someone who will handle the system quietly, competently, and without adding to anyone's burden.
"The time being stolen isn't abstract. It's hold music. It's the records chase. It's the insurance maze. Time that should belong to the people you love."
— The Wayfind PromiseHow It Works
Onboarding
We begin with a thorough intake — your loved one's full medical history, current providers, medications, and care goals. We establish chart access, introduce ourselves to the care team, and build a complete picture before anything else happens.
Ongoing Care
From there, we handle the coordination — appointments, refills, provider communication, insurance questions. Every month you receive a clear summary: what happened, what changed, and what to anticipate in the months ahead.
When Things Change
If something acute happens — a hospitalization, a new diagnosis, a care transition — we escalate our support immediately. You won't have to figure out the system at its most overwhelming. We've already navigated it for you.
About Wayfind
Wayfind was founded on a simple observation: the healthcare system is not built for families. It's built for providers. And when a loved one's health gets complicated, the people who love them are left to navigate an overwhelming system with no map and no guide.
After 13 years at the bedside — in intensive care, neurology, and forensic nursing — I've spent my career translating the complexity of medical care into something families can actually understand and act on. Wayfind is that work, formalized into a practice that families can access when they need it most.
My approach is direct, clinical, and deeply personal. I don't offer medical advice. I offer something rarer: a professional in your corner who already understands the system, knows what questions to ask, and won't stop advocating until your loved one is seen, heard, and cared for properly.
